For our 2020 Energy Expo, each team will be responsible for creating an exhibit that educates others about electricity or energy. First, your team must decide what theme you will have for your exhibit. Some potential themes include Innovations in Electricity: Past to Present, How Things Work: Electricity, SBenergy 2030: Meeting America's Future Energy Needs, etc. Once your team decides on a theme, you will brainstorm exhibit booth ideas. Then, you will complete research and consult with your supervisor about your ideas before creating your formal proposal. Each exhibit booth must include the use of a circuit that helps to explain or demonstrate your concept.
SBenergy 2030: Meeting America's Future Energy Needs
Research
For the expo, our team will develop prototypes of energy technologies that could be used in the future to produce or conserve energy in America. Start by using the files to the right to research the current state of specific energy technologies and where those technologies may take us in the future. |
|
Proposal
Once you have enough information about your topic, complete a proposal for your prototype and for an exhibit display that includes an infographic, model, and iPad interactive that will convince customers to invest in your product. |
|
Infographic
Create an infographic that is visually appealing and will provide an overview of your energy technology. Your infographic should have limited text and rely on graphs, charts, and pictures to tell the story of the current state of your energy technology and where it is headed in the future. |

Exhibit Script
